Sad Day...

yesterday was a very sad day.  i put my dog in the backyard so i could go check a job and do a little home work where i could get internet access. so i left for about 20-25 min a came back to a small whole dug out from under the fence.  my dog was gone.  so i whistled for him and walked around the block, no sign.  so i got in my car and drove around the neighborhood calling for him and no sign of that black lab.  while i was driving i saw an animal control truck driving around, that gave me the idea to call the police to see if there was a report of a random dog.  i called them and there was none. they said if there was one they would give me a call. it is 10:30 the next day and still there is no sign from my dog. i am afraid that i have lost him for good...

Nikon D60

The story of the nikon D60:

it was a beautiful evening, the hour was half past six and the sun was manipulating the colors of the sky. a young boy named scott pulled to a camera store in a car that was loaded with every material he owned.  the car was so packed the roof of the car was bulging and there was a dog house strapped to the top of the car, even the dog house was full of living necessities.  As scott walked out of his car he rolled the windows down just a hair so his dog Remmy could have a little bit of a breeze thats had been rustling through the leafs earlier that day.
when scott pulled the door open to enter the store a rush of cool air from the air conditioning rushed across his body and he noticed the store hours: "mon-fri 10am-7pm, sun closed".  scott walked up to the counter and told the sales man what he was looking for.
"Hey man... I am looking to get a Nikon D80.  got any of those?" Scott said.
the sales man looked at scott and noticed his hair had not been washed for weeks and probably has not changed his clothes in a few days as well.
"yeah we do.  would you like to see one?"
Now scott at this point was getting stoked because he has wanted to get a camera all summer. in the beginning of the summer he had taken a some people down the river that were professional photographers as well as amateurs. they showed him how to use there cameras and the spark was lit.  scott was in love with shooting film.
Scott and the salesman at the camera store talked back and forth on what kind of camera would be a good price and would fit the needs of this young boy.  they had both decided that the  D80 was too much money and the D60 would be a better choice.
Now this is where things get rough.  the salesman ran scotts credit card and the little box above the register read "Denied".  so what would any one do if that happens?  run it again of course. and thats what they did, with no hesitation the box read "Denied".  scott was frustrated but new that tomorrow was also an option so he was not that worried.  He was not worried because he had no clue what was going to happen in the morning.
the moon had risen and fallen and the day was now here.
To be continued...
